Michelangelo Pellis

Michelangelo is an intern with the newsroom for the fall semester. He is a fourth-year digital journalism major at Point Park University. He has served as news editor of The Globe, the university’s student-run newspaper, and as editor of the Point Park News Service. He is a recipient of a Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award for in-depth reporting. Most recently, his reporting through the Point Park News Service led to two freelance articles published in the Pittsburgh City Paper.
